I felt compelled blogging this issue, since our Department of Health has been so haphazardly notifying the public to avoid panicking as it is ‘just a mild case’. A mild case? Let me rethink that. First, A(H1N1) might not be airborne but it is passed directly from one person to another. Second, if it’s a mild case then why is it spreading so fast and posting a threat to our normal day-to-day activities? Third, isn’t just DOH going overboard with confidence that the virus won’t mutate? I personally think this is just all bull.
Pardon my insolence, but upon hearing DOH’s interviews it seems to be that all they could do is to warn the public. Yes, social awareness is the key to prevention but how can you keep being the calm zone when there are lots of people acquiring flu? For heaven’s sake, someone died already from having the virus! According to them, the lady has already heart complications and the virus must’ve aggravated her condition but they still act as if the virus had been just a hitchhiker on the system. How about children? How about old people with much more health complications? If the majority starts getting the flu and the cycle continues on, wouldn’t it be lethal that this ‘majority’ might pass on the virus to children and old people?
I don’t think that this is getting anywhere - Department of Health should at least disseminate caravans to different regions for free check-ups to quickly confirm cases. They should be researching for whatever information they could get on their hands. And so to say, if the virus isn’t lethal then they are just going to be laid-back and wait for something to happen? I don’t think so!
What do you think people? Answer the question on the title!

I want to watch it sooooo bad! Ever since Transformers 1 came out, I have been wanting for a sequel and now that it’s out I am so agitated! The movie has been released today, June 24th and people are lining up for the cinemas to experience the movie’s action-packed theme. I’ve watched its prequel in 2007 and from then on I’ve been a fan of the Transformers movie. The effects were really good from the way the robots have been designed using CGI down to the sound effects and movie soundtracks! I especially loved it that they’d included Goo Goo Dolls as one of their artists in the OST. Hopefully, when I watch Transformers 2 this year, it would be as great as my Transformers 1 experience because the stereo speaker systems of the cinema were set to surround sound. Some cinemas have less quality speakers so it’s safe to say that your movie experience also depends on the sound system - poor quality leads to bad movie experience.
